Information & Policies
Ordering
Please allow 48 hours notice when placing orders. We will accommodate last minute orders whenever possible.
Delivery
Viva Catering serves the San Jose Metropolitan area. Please ask the
catering director about delivery and pickup charges for your location.
Delivery charges are $25 minimum, including light set-up.
Pick-up charges (platters, dishes, etc.) are $25 minimum.
Please allow for a 30-minute delivery window
(from 15 minutes before to 15 minutes) after your scheduled delivery time.
The minimum food order for delivery is $100.00.
Hot Food
Hot items require chafing dishes, which we would be happy to provide for
you (some charges may apply).
Viva offers disposable foil pans for no additional charge.
Please allow at least 30 minutes for food to heat in the chafing dish.
Deposits
Viva requires a $250 deposit on all orders.
Deposits may be applied to entire bill.
Deposit is fully refundable if you cancel two weeks in advanced.
Cancellation
Cancellation, including orders cancelled due to inclement weather, must be made no later than 9:00 am on the business day prior to your event. Orders cancelled after that time, deposit will not be refunded. In addition, any special arrangements made for your event, including specialty food items, rentals, etc., the client will be charged in full.
Payment
Viva Catering accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and
checks with proper identification.
Payment is to be made in full on day of event.
All orders include tax 8.25%, and a Coordination fee 20%.
Full Service Events
Our catering director is ready to assist you in creating your event, from customized menus to service staff, linens, equipment and décor. Staffing includes Servers $25. hour per server, Bartender $30. hour, Supervisor $35. hour, and Chef $75. hour. There is a four-hour minimum for labor, including the pick-up of food, drive time, set-up and break down of event.
